How We Help
At The Thomas Foundation, we believe healing is possible—and purpose is powerful.
We provide trauma-informed, survivor-centered services that empower individuals and families to overcome domestic violence, rebuild their lives, and step fully into their purpose. Through practical support, emotional guidance, and creative healing programs, we walk with our community from pain to power.
1. Domestic Violence Prevention & Survivor Support
We offer a safe space for survivors of domestic violence—women, men, and children—to access resources, advocacy, and emotional support. Whether you are preparing to leave, recently left, or are rebuilding after abuse, you are not alone.
Services include:
- Crisis resource navigation
- Confidential peer support
- Survivor-led healing circles (virtual + in person)
- Survivor journal & resource giveaways
- Advocacy events and workshops

2. Beautiful Eyes: From Pain to Power Campaign
This survivor-led initiative uses the power of storytelling to raise awareness around domestic violence, break generational cycles, and inspire others to heal. Through the Beautiful Eyes film, soundtrack, merchandise, and outreach events, we amplify the voices of those who endured and overcame.
Ways this campaign helps:
- Community screenings + healing discussions
- Empowerment merchandise + journals
- Scholarships for survivors pursuing education or therapy
- Partnerships with shelters, churches, and schools.

3. Youth Empowerment & Mentorship
We equip youth with the tools they need to thrive emotionally, academically, and socially—especially those affected by trauma, incarceration, or poverty.
Programs include:
- Mentoring for girls and boys ages 11–18
- Self-esteem & life skills workshops
- Vision board + goal-setting retreats
- Teen healing journals and empowerment t-shirts

4. Justice, Equity & Civic Empowerment
We advocate for fair treatment, voice, and visibility for all. Our civic programs help educate and empower individuals to know their rights, vote, and speak up for change.
Our initiatives include:
- Voter registration + education drives
- Know Your Rights trainings
- Community town halls
- Advocacy for survivors of injustice

Dedicated Support for Men
We recognize that not all survivors are women. The Thomas Foundation proudly offers support and visibility for male survivors of domestic violence through our “The King’s Path” campaign.
Includes:
- Journals + healing resources for men
- Men's empowerment apparel (I Didn’t Hit Back, I Walked Away, etc.)
- Confidential 1:1 referrals to trauma counselors
- Fatherhood and re-entry healing support
Our Promise
At The Thomas Foundation, we see you. We hear you. And we’re here to walk with you—
from pain… to power.
